The size difference between the clam shells used on 2000 Chevy Astro AWD and these inserts is too different, the only way this could fit is with serious removal of material, I chose to go and get new OEM instead of trying to close the clams on these…unfortunately I was outside of the return window on these so I couldn’t return them….The product quality looks good, it just doesn’t fit my Chevrolet Astrovan

These are awesome. I have 500 horsepower and only the width of a few papers in between my steering column and headers- the motor was lifting up and locking up my steering.. but with this motor mount just on the driver's side I don't need any room there and it never touches the steering shaft.

Pick these up for my 91 Camaro that I am doing a big block swap in. I drilled out the rivets cleaned up and repainted the clamshells and the energy suspension polyurethane insert basically fell right into place. I'm really happy with them. Energy suspension makes a quality product. I'm exclusively using their products on my project from here on out.

These are good motor mounts. I don't quite understand why they don't come with the metal clamshell considering that regular motor mounts are under $5 with the shell. It isn't a big deal but keep in mind that you have to drill out the holes and reuse the metal shell from your old mounts to use these.

Easy to install in the old clamshell housing. You do need to have an old donor motor mount to reuse the steel clamshell, and having a drill press to drill out the old spot welds is way better, easier and safer than doing it with a hand drill. These will transmit more vibration to your car than stock rubber bushings, but it's a trade off for the strength and longevity that you get from the polyurethane.
