Looking at the product photo I mistakenly assumed the whole set was made of resin, since Jim Shore products are uniquely styled quality items. However, sadly the background “manger” is just a piece of cardboard. This is a very sad component to an otherwise very cute set, and is very unlike Jim Shore items.

The miniature Gnome Nativity is as precious as it looks online. I would say it is a micro-miniature, but I'm very happy with my purchase. The fact it's a Jim Shore adds a special touch to Nativity collectors.

Our daughter is into gnomes and when we ran across these we thought we'd give her a set. My wife has 10-15 Jim Shore collectables so we thought these might be nice.They are beautiful! Amazing colors and quality. Much better than we had even hoped. Detailed, great colors, a real "heirloom" set if you are into gnomes.We have never been disappointed with anything by Jim Shore, a great buy!

The gnome figurines are so cute, I knew I needed this nativity set in my collection. The designs are as intricate as advertised. The backdrop is literally paper on cardboard, so I won't even use it. I included a tape dispenser for scale. These little guys really are a very small size, but quite a welcome addition to my home. Was it worth the money? If you collect both gnomes and nativities, then yes.

So cute - even the sheep has a gnome hat. The backdrop is nice and none of the pieces are big or clunky.
