I have a 2015 nissan murano that had an odd trouble code pop up one day then the engine would have random power surges when turning right and would get warmer than normal during hill climbing when driving in the mountains. It turns out that the air box to throttle body flex tube had cracked and had numerous holes in it allowing excess air in past the mass airflow sensor. The problem is that the ECU would see the extra oxygen in the exhaust stream but it didn't add up to what the airflow sensor was seeing. It would cause the system to go into a lean, low power mode then eventually limp mode where the vehicle would not go over 56 miles per hour even with the gas pedal floored.I installed this replacement part and after erasing the codes stored in the ECU via the OBDII port the vehicle was driven twice for eighty miles each trip to confirm that the issue was resolved. No more performance problems, jerky acceleration or anything else. A solid fix for the money and dramatically cheaper than the stealership. They wanted $1800.00 to fix it stating the entire air cleaner housing and mass airflow sensor needed to be replaced. My repair shows that it absolutely false as I am still using the very same mass airflow sensor. This flex tube did the trick. For those wondering the code I was getting was powertrain P0101. The material of this tube seems solid as well as the construction. The installation was quick at about ten minutes with the fit being exactly the same as the factory part. Hopefully this helps someone out there avoid the stealership.I would definitely recommend this flex tube.

Resolved an issue with the car not realizing the gas being pushed intermittently. No codes or when car was put on tester. This helped resolve our issue!
