I had the steering assist reduced message and thermostat code. I was hesitant to buy this thermostat because it’s so much cheaper than the AC Delco part but I decided to take a chance. I replaced the thermostat almost 3 weeks ago. I have put over 400 miles on it and it hasn’t had any issues. I was able to replace just the thermostat and leave the original pipe in place. Repair took a couple hours and only required basic hand tools.The description didn’t say what temperature this thermostat designed to open but the part itself is stamped 95C. Overall am very happy with this purchase no regrets on not using the AC delco part.
