Why do I need this funnel?
We aren't saying traditional funnels don't work, but our funnels can make for easier and cleaner oil changes for not a lot of money.
The “no funnel” approach - We've all probably been guilty of this. This is thinking you can pour a full quart of engine oil into the engine through the small hole in the valve cover from some distance above it. This is easier on some engines than others, but usually results in at least some spilled oil.
The “regular funnel” approach – Unless you can find a funnel that will friction fit into the oil fill port, they are usually too long and end up touching a baffle or something else causing restricted oil flow. Since they don't seal, if you pour oil in faster than it can drain down into the engine oil might overflow. Many times these funnels require you to hold them the entire time, otherwise they tend to fall over.
The “Motivx Tools engine oil funnel” approach – Since this funnel screws into the oil fill port, it doesn't require any holding whatsoever so you are free to use both hands. It seals to the engine with a rubber gasket so even if you pour oil in faster than it can drain down into the engine it won't leak. You can also leave single quarts of oil in the funnel to completely drain while retrieving and opening the next one.
Will this funnel fit my vehicle?
GM has used this 1/2 turn style cap for a long time, however there are some vehicles, such as the new EcoTec that use a threaded cap. Double check your oil filler cap to confirm you have this 1/2 turn style rather than a cap with traditional threads.

Listing said that it does not fit my 2024 5.3L, but it looked like that it would. Figured that I would give itva try. Received it today, and it locks in place perfectly! Also, it is made in Taiwan, a friend of the US!

Ordered this for the LT1, was so tired of using funnels. It fit perfect, easy to use, has a clear tube to see the oil going in. The material is super high quality, has an O ring to prevent spills.

Yes, it is not an inexpensive funnel.But th efact that it twists into the Oil Filler Neck, makes it so useful.You can let the bottles drain out without worrying that will fall over.

I absolutely love this funnel set up. Stay put and the clear window in the spout helps monitor the flow. No more spills or messes, it even fits in the Mobil 1 jug for easy transfer of the used oil back into the jug for recycling. I have been changing my oil since 1982 and never have been this excited about a simple product like a funnel. I also added the GM angle filler for my V8 Camaro, awesome.

I find doesn't screw lock to Buick engine....it jumps thread lock but sill works at keeping oil from spilling or running down engine block

End of funnel is too small and does not screw in place of GM oil caps.
