Would of been great if all the parts were in there. Spent $175 on the parts locally that was missing

I liked that it had all the major pieces to complete the build. Even the oil pan gasket I received was 1-piece metal, like the old GM ones (before they cheaped out and went to the 4-piece version). All bearings in my kit were marked as King bearings and all ring/bearing clearances were very uniform. With some careful prepwork around all sealing areas (cleaned with solvent to ensure a proper seal prior to assembly) we are at 700+ miles with no leaks or issues to speak of.As mentioned before, if you're running the VVT cam, you'll want to spring for a wider cam bearing. The ones in the kit I received were also about 1/4" more narrow than the ones that we pulled out. With the width of the oil channel in the VVT lobe, the wider bearings are needed.

This kit was better than expected. All of the parts were well made except for the cam bearings which were too narrow. I bought different set of cam bearings and built it up. It runs like new!
