I recently installed this electric engine water pump and thermostat assembly in my 2016 VW Passat 2.0L, and it’s been performing flawlessly. The fit was perfect, and the included gaskets made installation straightforward without needing extra parts. Since the replacement, my engine’s temperature has remained stable, and I’ve noticed improved fuel efficiency during city driving. One minor downside is that the plastic housing feels less durable compared to OEM metal parts, but it’s held up well so far. Bolted right up and is working well. Not the easiest job in the world but there are no leaks and it is functioning great. If any issues come up down the road I will report it on this review.
