Flying Eagle makes very good skates. I recommend sizing them by your foot's measurement in centimeters, better known as your mondo point. I'm a 27.5 and I ride the 41/42 shell for best fit.But the skate itself is perfect, especially for those coming from the freeskate world into the aggressive world. The soul plate is a good size for locking on, without being too wide. It's hard mounted directly to the boot, so you get excellent feedback and control. The performance fit is awesome for control and precision as well.The liner is exceptional for being a stock liner - footbeds and heels pads especially are nice. Neoprene toe and memory foam top with lycra. Like I said, Flying Eagle makes very good skates. Don't listen to the haters.If you're coming from the aggressive world and trying out this boot, then you're going to dislike the frame that comes on it. It slides very fast, but it's heavy and the wheelbite protection, while good, won't be something you're used to. If you want to use a UFS frame, you can. But be aware that you'll need one that can accept an M8 frame bolt - like the Oysius, Roces Street, Blank, or K2 Frontstreet frames. I have verified that each of those work with minimal modifications required to enlarge the mounting hole.Bfree rides Create Original frames on his, but I have never personally tried that.

I like most everything about these skatesgood wheels and bearingsNice ratcheting strapMy only issue is the boot is hardshell and i'm having to be patient breaking them in.Blistering my anklesMy old skates were K2 Unatural and the boot is soft.Hoping to get these broken in soon.

Best skates I’ve owned. Use to use oxygen but now out of business and these are better anyway. Love surface are for grinding and smoothness of bearings
