I haven't installed them permanently yet, as I'm using them in a kitchen remodel project. However, I have unpacked them and they look great! The function of the lens to go to just about any angle needed is exactly what I needed for the slope of my cathedral ceiling. Looking forward to getting them installed. Depending on how you are using them is important. They have a connecting cord of about six inches on both the driver and the actual fixture, so roughly 12 inches of play.My situation was a brand new rough-in requiring EMT conduit between drivers, based on local electrical codes, so a fairly precise layout of driver and final fixture location was important.

Love this light and can dim really low which is what I want. No regret and hope it last a long time. Brightness is also very good.

I wanted to install six lights on the sloping ceiling in my bedroom. The visit to Home Depot and Lowe's left me concerned about the costs for installing the lights. I needed canless, gimbal lights to install on the ceiling and each one was in the range of $40-50. I found these on Amazon at a much less price point and came in a pack of six lights. It was packaged well and in good working condition.My electrician commented that he really liked the lights. I also liked the ability to change colors of the light to one's liking. I woud highly recommend these to anyone looking to install this type of lighting.

The included junction box is a nice touch! They are easy to change tone/color. They also dim well with my Meross smart dimmer switch. These look great, are super bright or dim and the range of motion to direct the lighten are very helpful with my slanted ceiling. Another great point is that they don’t get too hot… so, I didn’t have to create a cavity for the light to prevent the building materials from getting hot and creating a fire hazard. You can buy a similar item from a local hardware store at about triple the price… this is a great value and a perfect way to create a directional recessed looking light without having to change anything but the hole in your ceiling.

I bought these Gimbal lights to install in my living room and for two shower lights on slanted ceilings and they worked amazingly ! Very bright and love that you can adjust the light color

I bought a 4in hole bit for the power drill.. got the wiring done, and hooked to a smart dimmer...So far the dimming is great.. no stuttering .. it's as bright as I need, but on 50% typically..The beam isn't a spot but not a flood either.. kind of in between.I set it on 3000 for temp and that's that... just a ceiling fixture ... a good buy
