Working in mechanical trades, metal rings are a no go if you like having fingers. I looked at several of the other cheap silicone rings, and nothing really caught my eye. Until I found the Enso floral R2D2 ring! Was able to get it for half the normal price, and I should have bought a spare! It is very comfortable, easy to keep clean and the etched design has held up so far with no wear. Shipping was quick and it was even packaged in a small black gift box.

I was really excited about this silicon ring. As a Star Wars fan, and active person, this seemed like a great choice for silicone rings, but the product was a little underwhelming. I love the packaging and concept. it's giftabe for that reason abe easily collectible. The ring itself is okay. I think, my choice, the Chewbacca gold, doesn't look as good as the other options. I'm not a fan of the silicone gold tone, and the etched design is very difficult to see. From afar, it looks like the silicon is cracking. It's very comfortable and easy to place and remove. I would have liked to have seen it in person first, but would consider trying other styles. While I can say the quality of the ring is superb, the overall execution is lackluster.

I have a few enso rings so far now & I do love them. The silicone makes them super comfortable to me because they bend with my hands & even have a little bit of “give” or wiggle room as my hands can swell due to arthritis. I love the fun designs & colors too & this one is no exception. I especially love that at first glance the floral pattern is feminine & subtle & that you wouldn’t even realize it’s a nerdy Star Wars ring except for the little peak a boo droid if you look closely.However my only complaint with Enso is the sizing. I previously ordered another of their rings in my standard size 7 but it ran small. So I ordered this ring in the next size up, a size 8, & this one runs true to size & is too big. So if you are ordering for yourself keep in my an exchange may be necessary to get the proper fit. And if you’re giving as a gift definitely provide a gift receipt in case an exchange is needed.

I have been wearing silicone rings in place of my wedding band for several months because I lost a lot of weight and my real wedding band is too big. I believe Enso is the big player in silicone rings, but this is the first Enso ring I have.I loved the idea of this because it's Star Wars. It is not overly obvious to the passerby that R2 is etched into the band, but it is pretty detailed and nicely done.I ordered the size that I normally wear in other silicone rings, but it felt really tight right out of the box. It's still fitting a bit tight, though it has seemed to stretch a bit so it is more comfortable than before. I fully expected this to stretch out, as my other rings have done, but it is taking a long time.From a wearability standpoint, I don't think it is as comfortable as my other silicone rings. My other rings are curved around the edges. This one seems pretty straight around the edge which makes it more noticeable to wear.I do not think I will be replacing my other rings with this one. It's a pretty design, but for the cost, this is not the ring I'm looking for.

My rings were stolen during chronic break ins. I never wore those I had to keep them nice since I live an active life & they had much meaning to me. A silicone ring was a cost effective solution to both problems. But I wanted to find one that had meaning to me, since those stolen did (ie last thing I had of my late, gentle grandmother’s).I saw these & they caught my interest. I chose the Wookie because Chewbacca has always appealed to me (pilot + hairy? Yes, please). One must look close to see the details, mainly looks like a plain colored band (varies by character chosen). It was also the same color as my Grandmother’s wedding ring & she loved flowers, so it reminded me of her wonderful, gentle presence except now she can always be with me.It comes in a nice box purchasers might consider keeping to store the ring in or makes for nice presentation (for any occasion) if gifting this. Might be a good, fun idea as someone’s 1st “training wheels” jewelry to learn responsibility, because happy mistakes are great learning opportunities at this price point (versus the cost for a class ring, for example, which falls into more expensive regret territory if loss or damage occurs).The flexibility of the material also allows ring to slide on different fingers of similar size (or after a klutzy incident, of which in my life there are many). My hands can get wet, sweaty or immerse in ocean or doggy drool with no ill effects. I keep it on all the time, even during showers.This is fun, affordable, good active wear. And hey, it’s Star Wars.
