These are difficult to adjust and clip closed. I purchased them for my husband as he was wearing rubber bands to hold his shirt sleeves up when he cooked. He tried them a few times, but abandoned them as he could not easily put them in place, then tighten. So I gave it a try when I was cooking with a long sleeve shirt on, and I agree with him. I ended up trying to size them before putting them on, then sliding them over my shirt and up to mid arm. I had low to medium success with this method. They are probably going to get thrown out.
