  • 6-string acoustic guitar
  • Advanced jumbo body style
  • Mahogany back, neck, and sides with solid Stitka spruce top, and Rosewood bridge and fretboard
  • 25-1/2" scale

Sitka spruce top and luxurious appointments in an Epiphone guitar offered at a steal. From Epiphone comes this beautiful entry-level guitar, priced for anyone to afford. Dressed in a beautiful finish, and featuring appointments you'd often find on higher-end guitars, the Epiphone J45 Studio guitar sounds just as good as it looks. Built on advanced jumbo body design, the depth of the body and the width of the shoulders create a large sound chamber, presenting tone that is full, deep, and loud. The mahogany back and sides paired with a solid Sitka spruce top brings out rich harmonics, lots of projection, and clarity in tone. A glued-in dovetail neck joint keeps the Epiphone acoustic guitar's neck and body stable, without losing any subtleties in tone. The mahogany neck adds strength, as the wood is quite durable and will stand up to the elements. The rosewood bridge and fretboard produces lasting sustain, in a deep appearance. Dressed in a polyurethane finish and featuring such desirable appointments as sealed die-cast tuners and nickel hardware, you will love the look of the Epiphone J45 Studio guitar as much as its sound. Built under the expertise of Epiphone's master craftsmen, this acoustic guitar will sound excellent for a very long time.

The J-45 has a reputation for professional acoustic sound quality at a low price. You can't go wrong with this guitar. Besides the wonderful sound, it is easy to play, and good looking too.

La guitarra es de muy alta calidad tiene un sonido hermoso, lo único malo es que el pequeño logotipo que tiene se despega con mucha facilidad

I bought the guitar directly from the Epiphone web site around 2020 - customer service at Gibson (this is a Gibson brand) was very responsive. The guitar is made in Indonesia at the plant where most acoustic guitars in the world are made (Cort?). Quality was very good - set up was quite playable on delivery. It's not as deep as my AJ-500ME NS, so it does not project like the Masterbilt, but it is playable, and can certainly play at volume if strummed vigorously. It has a longer scale length than the standard Gibson, so has a slightly brighter sound than the AJ45/DR500.Overall, a high quality and relatively inexpensive guitar that is both playable and also not something you are going to need to worry about. No regrets in purchasing it - excellent value.

I already have an Epiphone Dreadnought and wanted a smaller guitar as well. This one is an Auditorium so slightly thinner as well as smaller boughts. There are many reasons why I chose Epiphone, slimmer necks, solid tops at an affordable price, and lovely finish, but, the real reason I chose Epiphone is that they are made in Indonesia. To me the Indonesian guitars are always a cut above those made in the other ‘affordable’ oriental region, (are we still allowed to say Chyna), I don’t know. This pandemic has shown us all what that other country feels about us in the rest of the world, so I’m going to use my purchasing power to shift my buying away from there anyway. My guitar came from Wembley Music Centre and it was very well setup ‘perfect for me’, and very well packaged. It arrived the next day, so thumbs up to them.Playing the Epiphone made me so happy. It has this uplifting timbre that I’ve not heard in any other guitar and I expect that’s due in equal parts to a solid spruce top and it’s novel take on the auditorium shape. It’s always an act of hope to buy something as personal as a guitar online but during this lockdown we had little other choice. I would say that buying from a reputable dealer like WMC, through Amazon, with their no nonsense returns policy, gives a fail-safe way of doing that.

I wanted a reasonably priced guitar to have something to play that I was not too worried about and ended up falling in love with the tonal quality and craftsmanship. An amazing instrument for the price.

Eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo. Ho sostituito selletta del ponte e capotasto con due in osso di buona qualità ed il risultato è eccezionale! Ricca di bassi e acuti cristallini. Consigliatissimo!

I've been playing guitar on hand me down guitars for the last 16 years, and finally I decided to purchase my own, I chose a steel string acoustic (as I had been playing on nylon acoustics.) the feel is good, the action is smooth(I didn't sand it down or anything) right out of the box the guitar needs some tuning but will play just right after a quick tune. I recommend you buy a set of guitar strings and a case when you buy this guitar. I bought the epiphone case for 89$ and it keeps my new baby safe and sound. I bought this in March and haven't had to change out the strings.

This was the choice for my first Acoustic guitar so I didn't want to spend too much but still wanted quality and value. Plus exceptional sound which is what I got. Very happy.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 13 year old son. My thinking was if he didn't follow my path of guitar playing, it would not be a bad guitar for me to inherit. The guitar was such a poor build quality that I have aboslutely no use for it. The neck does not run straight. Once the fretboard reaches the body,it has a hump that lefts the fretboard up giving a slight stairstep. There is no cure for this other than burn it as firewood. I was hesitant tobuy a low cost guitar online but the reviews had me convinced my chances were good that it would be a good guitar. This guitar sounds tinny, it's top is thin and the neck was assembled with no quality control. I am VERY disappointed and this is a setback for my son who still has no guitar of his own.
