Very nice amateur product. Seals great, cuts ok, and the spring is weak as mentioned in other comments but it does the job. On the inside there is a mark, not sure why, made the pasta with a mark but it did not persist after cooking.

This is a fun tool for anyone trying to make ravioli at home for home use. But this is not a professional tool by any means. The spring is weak, there is zero weight to product and the cutting edges are not very refined. There is also a manufacturing marking on the inside which may or may not leave an impression on your ravioli. The end result of using this product is not what you would expect. Ymmv however. You will achieve better ravioli with cheaper tools and some better technique.

It makes perfect little raviolis. They end up looking completely professional. Quality of the tool's mechanical tolerances and wood finish make it a pleasure to use.Also, I've made ravioli many different ways before I finally bought a stamp like this. And I would always have a problem with "water logging" when a ravioli would tear during boiling and get water inside which is never fun. With this stamp I only get about 1 or 2 in 30-35 raviolis get water inside.The best part is how difficult it is to mess up. When I first used this I had very little idea how much filling to use, and how exact it had to be. Using just a spoon all my little piles of filling were different sizes. Yet every ravioli came out perfect. If you use too much filling the stamp squeezes out the extra while still maintaining a perfect seal! I've really been able to impress people with this tool.

This was a Christmas gift. The report back was that she tried the stamp and that it did a very good job. She liked the way the spring inside reduced the number of ravioli that get stuck and how much less flour you needed to keep them from sticking. Highly recommend this ravioli stamp.
