Upgraded Digitizing CNC Touch Probe
The shell is made of the fine frosted black oxidized aluminum alloy, which makes it looks better and last longer than others, besides, this tool can be converted to a tool setter by a tool setter base and flat tip.

PGFUN provides the spare parts and the related parts/tools of the touch probe, so you do not need to worry about the touch probe being unusable due to damaged parts.
Application
Theoretically it can work with MACH3, Mach4, Dynamotion, LiNUXCNC, UCCNC, Centroid CNC or any other CNC control software with a probing routine and a breakout board that will accept probe input.
For Mach3 and GRBL
- Probe Wizard or ProbeIt are recommended for Mach3
- GRBLGRU is recommended for GRBL
For Other Control Systems
contact your software, and controller manufacturer or lookup forums for probe wiring and connections.
IO Signal Output
- NPN-NO: High-level signal output when powered, and turns to Low-level signal output when Triggered
- NPN-NC: Low-level signal output when powered, and turns to High-level signal output when Triggered

Q1: Why the accuracy not as advertised?
A1: the accuracy is true, to reach high accuracy, please ensure everything is prepared, like adjusting the concentricity, and the parts/ tools that may affect the accuracy are more sensitive than the touch probe.
Q2: Does this touch probe work for the non-conductive material like acrylic?
A2: This is a mechanical probe, it identifies and transmits the signal by physical contact, do not worry about the conductivity of the material.
Q3: why i can not measure the probe height by tool setter?
A3: when it works with other tools, like tool setter, please ensure the sensitivity of the tool setter is higher than this edge finder (trigger force less than 1.6 N).

Q4: Can the concentricity be adjusted?
A4: yes, there are 4 silver set screws on the sides for concentricity adjustment.
Note 1: Use the 0.001" Dial Indicator Adjusting the Concentricity (Not the 0.0001" Dial Indicator)
Note 2: Let the Dial Indicator Point to the Ball Styuls of the Touch Probe, Not the Body of the Touch Probe.
Q5: Why the probe tip isn’t perfectly straight with the body?
A5: it may be caused due to violent shipping or over-triggering, you can correct it by adjusting the concentricity by the set screws. if the tip was bent, you need to replace the tip and then adjust the concentricity.

As a probe tip it’s fine, but only single items are available quickly . You can buy 6x for just a bit more but have wait weeks for them to be shipped from china. This is a item prone to damage and the 6 pack makes more sense
