I ordered this same type back in 2017 and those failed so i searched for these in a different brand, I like the way they fit my boot, It says XL large, and I'm only a size 10, and they did not make or offer a larger size so if you're looking for a bigger size these are not for you, I do like the adjustment to tighten it up, but my little slide nut doesn't want to stay where I put it, so I don't know if it actually does anything or not, otherwise they seem built good, only time will tell if they last longer than the other pair I had.

Some years ago I slipped on a patch of ice and fractured some ribs, and while I'll tromp all over the place in snow, ice for me is a real killer. So this year when we had the worse ice storm in Connecticut in memory, I decided to get some ice cleats. They slip-on over my boots and stay on walking on the sheets of ice—some invisible under the snow. Great cleats!

This is my 3rd purchase of various kinds of cleats. The first two pair were disappointing. Both, in short order, seem to stretch out after a little use and began to twist and turn on my footwear rendering them useless. It got pretty aggravating to stop every 50 yds. to readjust the darn things back into proper position! So . . . with this more substantial design of these "adjustable" cleats, I'm hopeful this will solve the issues I've had previously. We'll see.

I've tried a lot of these sort of products over the years and persevered with YakTrax for a long time, these are the best I've found. Because they come quite high up on your boot they stay in place better. I apparently twist my feet a bit as I walk and most lower-rise versions eventually 'ping' off.because they have a toggle to tighten them they are also easier to put on than the kind that rely on brute strength to stretch the device over ones boot.

First the most important. You MUST get the right size. Up a size from your casual shoes to work boots generally. These stay on better then the other 4 brands I have tried. The only time I had a problem was with a pair that were a little small for my work boot.

I wear a 10 1/2 shoe and bought the Large, which is supposed go to size 11. It was a struggle to get them on my shoes, and they were so tight they squashed the front of my foot. Because you have to cut the zip ties to try them on, and they are then non-returnable, they would have been a waste of money. Fortunately, they fit my girlfriend's fur-lined winter boots.

2nd pair of these, size Medium works on my women's size 9 shoes. The size Large were too big (gave them to a size 10.5 man). A little hard on my hands to put them on my Merril arctic grip shoes, harder to put on my boots. Mostly just leave them on the Merril shoes unless there is deep snow. I don't need to snug them up, they stay on and never have come off. These are a lifesaver if you walk on icey roads all day long!

This is a good item - gives some moderate anti-slip on ice. Not too hard to put on or off. I dont know about durability at this point but I liked enough to buy a second set.

Excellent product. I’ve tried many other spikes. They always fall off! These stay put and has great grip. I’ve done many hikes this winter and I wear them every time.

Dislike:- they were difficult to get on, selected the large based on the sizing chart, I had to add a 2nd ring to make it work. Perhaps the Xlarge would have been better- they would be difficult to remove (mine will stay on for the winter)- studs could be a little longerLike- they stay on, compared to other similar I have purchased

Good product. I don't understand people that complain that it's hard to put on, maybe to bought it too small for them. Really easy to put on, I use them to work, I'm a truck driver, most of clients yards are icy so with that it's a lot safer to walk.
