Your cart is empty.DescriptionThis recovery strap is 1 inches wide and 15 feet long. Premium Recovery Strap manufactured to 7500 pounds breaking strength and 3750 maximum vehicle weight. Erickson recovery straps all feature a sewn end loop with an overlay of high-tenacity nylon to ensure longer life in the pull area, where most of the wear occurs in this type of towing system. The sewn in loop also makes it easier to attach the strap loop to the tow hooks on the vehicle. Heavy duty webbing is rated at 10,000 pounds per inch of width, the wider the web, the stronger the strap. A heavy, 415 series thread is used in the sewing process to ensure the advertised load limits are met or exceeded. When using, simply attach the loops to tow hooks on both vehicles. Once the web tightens up, the webbing will stretch 20 per cent and actually slingshot the stuck vehicle out, giving what we call snatch-action. The caution is have to guard webbing from bumpers and more. Simply use old rags, coats, carpets or whatever to protect the strap from sharp edges. Carry in a four wheeler tool box for getting unstuck. This is my second one as I finally runined the first one using it to pull stuff it wasn't designed for. I have been very satisfied with it.

I have had one of these for about 5 years and still use it to this day. Great for use as intended, light and strong. I have pulled a hard bind against this with a 38hp 4wd tractor and it worked just as it should.

Product shown is what you get. It seems to be a sturdy strap for being 1". I bought this to put in my sister's car in case she needed it. The stitching and quality seem to very high as compared to another similar strap I purchased. I would recommend this strap if you need an emergency recovery strap or just some piece of mind.

Have not used it but will have it in my Kawasaki Teryx UTV if I ever need it for towing or winching as a tree or rock strap. I really like the narrow 1 inch width as it is very compact yet has a high strength rating and great price. I really got it for a tree saver strap but they are usually short so for the same price this one is so much longer it may be more useful. The strap looks like the picture but the packaging does not. It is not in a zippered bag or anything special like the picture shows.
