Wow! I really thought this was not much more than a stupid promotion and I was wasting my money. These are amazing!!!I put them on my tenor guitar (yes, only 4 strings) and the box came to life. The tones are crisp and clean. A little squeaky but not any worse than others.I will be trying them on the Martin next string change!

Horrible strings. 20 year player here! Muted, lack clarity and volume on my Martin. Way overpriced too!

These strings are lightweight, easy to play and have a great acoustic sound. I've used Ernie Ball for over 50 years and although I've tried about every brand out there in that time, I always go back to them. I'd recommend these strings to anyone, whether you're a seasoned, professional musician or just learning to play.

Nothing special. Too thin and shrill sounding.

Put these on my all sapele Martin Dreadnought Junior and they gave it some nice projection and sustain. Added some oomph to a dark sounding guitar. Going to try these on my cedar topped Seagull as well.

In the world of guitar strings, there are certain names on the short list of consideration: D'Addario, Elixir, Martin, and Ernie Ball. Each brand, and each line has its own distinct personality and feel.Bell Bronze is a relatively new Ernie Ball line that was announced at NAMM 2025 and is available now. It was designed in conjunction with John Mayer and feature a patent-pending alloy inspired by metals used in bells and cymbals. It's actually a 92/8 copper-zinc alloy wrap wire over a tin-plated hex core; the increased copper over a traditional 80/20 bronze string gives it a warmer, richer tone, while the 8% zinc (as opposed to tin or phosphorous) adds brightness and strength. It comes in four gauges; I went for the medium gauge. The strings really did appear shiny like a bell. More importantly, the sound really did project well and came off much richer and fuller than my previous strings on my Taylor. The sound was more full, resonant, and bright, reminiscent of chimes. It was like playing a completely different guitar, especially when strumming.I personally loved them, but I'd suggest listening to some YouTube videos to see if these are for you.

I have 5 nice acoustic guitars. I'm specific about which strings go on which guitars. I've been trying to get my Martin OM-28 Modern Deluxe to ring/sing better. I love how it plays, but it's not my best sounding guitar. I read about these Bell Bronze strings and decided to give them a try. Loved them! Really nicely balanced. Not too bright and not too boomy. The guitar seems to be louder and notes sing out better. Tons of clarity. I think they are great. Have already ordered more to try on some of my other guitars. Recommended!
