WB44K5012 Bake Element
The WB44K5012 Bake Element supplies the heat for your electric oven. It turns on an off throughout the time that the oven is on to ensure consistent heat at the temperature that was set. Your bake element might have to be replaced if:
- There is little to no heat when baking
- The element will not heat
- The element is worn or corroded

This element fit my Kenmore stove perfectly. Easy to install and works great. My only issue was the packaging. The box was only partially sealed and the element was exposed.

Perfect fit. Packaged and protectedvery well for shipping. Couldn't be happier. Our oven works and we saved ALOT of money by replacing part, which turned out to be cracked, without having to purchase a new oven. This worked like a charm for my 15 year old Kenmore. I was able to install it myself with no problem. My old baking element made a loud noise and broke into three pieces.Here are a few of tips. To keep the wires from sliding back into the insulation, use big bobby pins or hair clips to clip onto them. I couldn't find how to plug the cord back into the outlet after I pulled it out. It was in an awkward position so I used a small mirror to get an idea of where the three slots were. It was still awkward, but I did it. Usual instructions say to turn off the breaker but to be extra safe, unplug it. I speak from experience and have lived to tell about it. Take the door off of the stove since you will need to lean way in to unscrew the bolts. Most oven doors are very easy to remove. Finally; there are lots of You Tube videos to walk you through it.

Purchased to replace bad element in kenmore range.The bad:None.The good:Several months of use and still going strong. Easy to replace, took longer to find the correctly sized nut driver in my toolbox to remove the old one than it did to replace the element. Simply remove the two screws, pop off the two wire connecter terminals, plug in the new element, replace the two screws. Done.

The bake element went out in my oven 6 months ago , over that time I've purchased two other elements that did not work. One heated up but it just wasn't very strong, the other just flat out didn't work. This Baking Element was a breeze to install and heated up rapidly. Also it's about half the price I paid for the others. I am super pleased with it.

Element was the same size and appears built well but the terminals and the mounting plate did not match what I have.
