Same quality and my personal experience, more durable than Shimano. Additionally, the float of 4.5 degrees is a nice sweet spot, at least for me. And of course, better value than Shimano. Stay away from no name brands. Exustar is an actual 'brand name' that's been making cleats and pedals for a long time. It's not some knock off cleat.

Hi this was a great cleat set but then the second time riding my bike with them a screw and gasket fell off--they'd just been tightened so not sure what the deal is and now I have to go find another screw :/ Normal use

Fearing the reviews that stated they were receiving fake Shimano, I picked these up at the LBS. Immediately, I knew they wouldn't be on long. My issues with the cleats are: they are slippery, required more tension to almost stay clipped, they would pop out when power is put down, they're brittle, and the adjuster is useless (cleat had to be removed to adjust it). They are made from a more dense/stiff plastic and my pedal stroke was great when they stayed clipped. I don't need the float of Shimano, but it's nice for stretching in the saddle or just being able to move around when coasting or turning off the power. My fit is dialed in.These were installed on new shoes and used with relatively new pedals. I'll keep them as backups or for my trainer shoes, but they are not road worthy. 50 miles and they're out.

These cleats are a perfect replacement for the Shimanos I have used in the past. They seem to be just as durable and are slightly less expensive. I also like the amount of float they provide, which is between the 6 degree Shimanos and the Zero Float Shimanos. I had tried a pair of cleats that I found on Amazon for only $6, but they were a disaster and began falling apart after just a couple of rides. These Exustars are the real deal.
