I ordered this stator with skepticism due to the amount of junk on the market today and getting burnt in the past but what a pleasant surprise! The stator bolted right up and it was truly a plug and play device. With the exception of one wire that was botched from the previous owner, the unit plugged right into the stock electric system on my 1987 KX250. The wires were color coded to match the bikes stock wires and the plate lined right up in the crankcase. The whole process took about 45 minutes.My ONLY issue with the new stator is not having timing marks on the plate but I aligned it as close as I could with the way the burnt out stator was. I checked the spark plug and low and behold it’s snapping a healthy blue charge-no big deal with the timing as I’ll just set it right once everything else with the bike is straight.I’m also very happy with the vendor who sold it (Longhorn Moto), great packaging and fast delivery.I’m very pleased with everything and will definitely recommend this stator plate and vendor who sold it.
