These are a great option if you're like me and prefer a jack stand that has a very solid, positive stop rather than a ratcheting mechanism. They are a bit fussier to set up I suppose, but knowing that there's practically no way these are going to slip or fail without extreme force is worth it. They get my 4X4 Chevy K10 up in the air safely and with plenty of room to work.The welds are solid, the materials are quality, and the overall design is stable. Bear in mind that these are intended to be placed under an axle. These probably wouldn't be the best choice if you need to support a vehicle some other way. However, if you've got a vehicle with standard, "old-school" axles then these are hard to beat for safety.
