The picture makes it look like this might be much lighter colored, almost along the lines of rose gold. The price was good, so I bought it anyway planning to use rub-n-buff to darken it. To my pleasant surprise, it was exactly the cast iron color I wanted.It’s very heavy and appears to be high quality. The only thing that disappoints me is that I wish it came with matching screws. However, considering I originally planned to change the whole thing, blotting some rub-n-buff on a couple of screws isn’t a deal breaker for me.

What size screws do you use? It came with no screws or bolts. Looks nice though.

I love this door knocker, but it arrived badly scratched and without any kind of hardware to mount it. This should have come with wood screws in a matching tone.

I absolutely love it..I bought it for my back gate everybody remarks on how lovely and appropriate it is. Really good quality I was pleasantly surprised seeing as it wasnt at all expensive..had to supply my own screws but nevertheless excellent value...would definitely buy more items.
