These stepping stones are gorgeous! They are metal and pretty heavy. I love the brown tone and the distressed look that shows the wrought iron underneath. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the reddish brown was PERFECT for my landscaping aesthetic. It DOES show a bit more of a reddish brown in the indoor pics than the outdoor ones, though. I was concerned about potential rusting, so I sprayed with a clear coat for protection.

I bought just one of these stepping stones at first to see if I liked it, and as you can see I really did! I now have 6 of these stepping stones (purchased at different times), and they all match perfectly! The design of the stones is very fancy, and it really adds some charm and whimsy to the garden. I also love the fact that these are made of cast iron - so sturdy they seem like they will last a lifetime!! :-)

An atheist friend of mine lost his elderly mother and I didn't know what to send him that would suit his "beliefs". A mass card and flowers would not be appropriate for him. I sentimental "Mom" plaque just would not work! I decided that this rustic stepping stone for him to place in his yard in memory of his Mom would suit him just right. He told me that it was very thoughtful and he was going to place it by his pond.

I looked ALL over the internet for classic looking stepping stones - these fit the bill beautifully! They are just as pictured and very strong. I'm in the process of placing them on a stone walkway and so far they look amazing. SO GLAD I found these and that Amazon was able to get more from the manufacturer. They really are unique!
