I am homeschooling and this little math kit works well to go with my five year old's and even my eight year old math curriculums. Mainly use with my five year old daughter's math but all three kids get use of this ages 3, 5, and 8. The kit is suitable for working independent work or one on one time with me and the child I am working with. the clock has helped my 8 year old with her clock work lessons and I use almost daily with my 5 year old. While I would like to have more of the manipulatives on hand this kit is great to get you started when you are on a budget. Or you wanted a little set for each kid so each kid would have their own set of manipulatives to help them work independently on their own or explore math. All items in the kit seem to durable and good quality.
