Your cart is empty.Set includes Tippet Rings: Ten 2mm 25 pound and Ten 2.5mm 40 pound, each size on individual swivel clasp rings for easy identification between the 2 sizes. To attach to leader, first isolate the next ring in line to be removed before opening clasp. Tie on leader to the ring before opening clasp. Next open clasp to remove ring. Close clasp to lock in remaining rings. These rings are small in size so as to float when dry file fishing or sink when nymph fishing and to be less visible to the fish. Rings eliminate the need to cut back on leader. Ideal for attaching two different size lines. Rings are black nickel in color made of a strong Alloy

I tied these rings a dozen with 5x 4x 3x tippet and even a butsection of a 4x leader the rings cut the line every time both the 2mm and 2.5mm rings. Tied the same know I've been using for 30+ years on a hook the 3x tippet straightened out the hook. Must be a bad batch. How ever after looking at the reviews closer I see someone else had the same problem. By the way someone owes me a 4x 7.5ft leader that I destroyed trying to figure out what was wrong.

I haven't used these tippet rings yet but they look good. Price is very good.

I’m glad I tested these out before I got on the water and lost fish. 8 attempts to attach tippet and 100% of the knots failed due to the ring cutting the line. Will return and don’t recommend. Yes, this may have been one bad ring out of the bunch but I can’t afford 1 bad ring to cost me a fish.
