This does NOT fit a eureka whirlwind 5740A. While the belts work, the beater bar is a couple of inches too long.

When buying a replacement part for a vacuum cleaner you need it to fit perfectly and allow the vacuum cleaner to operate as new, which this replacement part did. Anyone with a similar vacuum cleaner would benefit from buying this part if they need it.

The vacuum is used at the office on a regular basis. The beater bar and belt broke. This fixed that, now it's back to use.
