I purchased this skit for my 4 year old and it fit fine in the waist but it is really long. It worked well for her preformance once we pinned it up a little.

The skirt is beautiful! They looked amazing. The only problem we had was that it was a little small in the waist even though her waist was just within the parameters. This caused the fabric to run. It will be fine and will never show from on stage.

These skirts (and the ones which are the same but for kids) are great!!! They fit all of our girls really well, and as an orchestra teacher, I know it's hard to find skirts wide enough for cellists. These look great and fit very well!!! I have not cut any of them, but they do say that you can just cut them to shorten them and you don't need to hem them. We have had the girls just roll the waistband a couple of times if needed. I think they will look really great at our next Concert!!!

We ordered this skirt to practice for a Pasoo Doble recital for our 8 year (average height). I'm confused by comments that said it doesn't look like the pics, no surprises here. I measured my daughter's length from her waist and thought this would be an exact fit but it's actually a little longer. Maybe the weight of the material stretches a bit? So we rolled at the waist and it's perfect and still has room to grow. It's very voluminous material with a lot of flowy movement, she loves twirling in it.
