I am new to drums and wanted something close to the correct size and feel of a real drum. Was a package that came with standard size sticks and it is double sided so you can have two different rebound feels. Saves me from purchasing a complete drum and is less noisy than a real drum. I needed something to develop beginning rudiments on and this works for me. Not sure I will invest in a complete drum set at this time so again good for a beginner.
