No hardener is included with this polyester primer. Every other seller of the same product includes the 4 tubes of MEKP hardener. Incomplete package and now have to source the hardener locally.

Great stuff, it's like 3 coats for everyone of a good 2k primer. Sand good after top is knocked down.Use a DA with 80 grit just for shinny top.Remember this is a poly like Bondo filler.Seal up you metal and bodywork first, and get a contrasting colour to your sealer so you can see when you break through. If your doing a big car, don't waste your time skim coating. Just buy two gallons and it will block out easy and fast.Don't forget your acetone for cleaning and thinning. Gallon DOES COME with hardener. 4 little tubes, make sure you spray with a 1.8 tip or bigger.5 stars.

There is a learning curve on how to spray this stuff. However, once you get it figured out, it will fix a lot of beginner mistakes. The finished and sanded product is so smooth.

DO NOT spray this product before VERIFYING the production date codes, Pay special attention the the MEKP liquid hardener. Nothing will make your day like sanding off paint that will never cure, not to mention the Evercoat lack of customer service.

This product did not arrive with the hardener. Before purchasing I read reviews that stated that it came with the hardener. I would not of purchased this if I had known that it didn't come with hardener. As a result I was forced to purchase the hardener separately from a local auto part store. Unfortunately the hardener th as t they sold me must have been expired long ago because after mixing up my batches correctly and spraying three coats the primer didn't harden like it should of . The only way i could get it smooth was to wet sand most of it off. I believe it is a good product but without the correct hardener, that is fresh, it is a complete nightmare ugh!!!!

This product was not as thick as other polys I have sprayed, but it still lays down nice and thick with 2-3 coats. I spray my knight rider hand layed fiberglass bumpers with this stuff now all the time. Hers a pic above of my car painted after.

This product does work well for me. I've filled sand scratches up to 36 grit with this product (3 to 4 coats). I've used both the black and the gray (I've not used the buff color) the gray does seem to fill slightly better than the black by about 1 coat but I like the black better because I find it easier while stick sanding to see the low spots. I generally break the surface with 180 gold on a straight-line sander and finish by hand stick sanding. The initial sanding seems to plug the paper slightly, I've found running a gray scotch pad over the sandpaper takes that right off and once the surface has been broken, plugging is much less. The only issue I've had over the years is one time I got some old, cloudy hardener and it didn't set up. If I happen to get some cloudy hardener now I just use some fiberglass hardener rather than use the cloudy stuff.
