I could never get it even close to the 950F temperature that the listing says this over will get to. With the gas line hook up they sent me, I was able to get to lower 700s on the end of the circular stone right next to the flame. I watched Youtube product review videos that got it up to 850 in 20 minutes. The one they sent me, it would be in the 600F range in 20 minutes and after an hour, peak out in the lower 700s. So when I contacted their customer service and explained what was going on and my trouble shooting, I got a 2 sentence answer saying ‘you can return it through Amazon’. Zero interest in solving the issue - or are they false advertising the temperature claim? In either case, I was shocked that I purchased this and Everdure would rather me send it back than help me resolve the issue.So at that point I decided to trouble shoot it some more. I checked for gas leaks around all connections. There were none. I read one review where it was said that the gas regulator Everdure supplied was faulty. So I spent an additional $70 buying a replacement and hooked it up. Checked for gas leaks again. None. Another problem was the booster flame below the rotating stone kept getting snuffed out with just the lightest wind. So I put a big stainless steel plate up to block the wind. That kept the flame on. Once I did this in combination with the new regulator, I am now able to get the flame to about 800 F after 40 minutes. Not what they advertise, no help from Everdure.The idea behind reaching lower 900s for T in these ovens is to get a perfect crust by cooking fast (1 minute) and keeping the moisture in the interior of the crust. So I thought when I saw this on Amazon and with the youtube vids confirming at least 850, this was the oven to buy. I will keep trying to find out what is wrong with our oven and see if I can get the T higher. Right now it will do slightly better than our gas grill for making a great pizza. But again, no help from Everdure and it looks like the over won’t perform as advertised.
