These goggles are advertised for kids age 3-15 so I should have been suspicious. A teenager can just use adult goggles and if goggles are big enough to fit older kids, they are guaranteed to be too big for little ones. My 5 year old is small (more like 4yo size) but these goggles should have fit based on the age range. There were gaps on the side that let water in so he only used them for a few seconds. They might work if the strap is tight enough but he wasn't willing to try again. That said, for an 8-12 year old, they would probably work well--they fit me as an adult and keep good suction as long as my face isn't scrunched up. The clip on the back is very helpful especially with long hair and the price is decent for a set of two so it might be worth a try.

These goggles fit great on kids, mine are 7-11 and they seal wonderfully! They don't leave any marks like the smaller goggles. They adjust easily, my kids can put them on, adjust them and remove them without pulled hair or needing my help.
