This is perfect for dusting my ceiling fans and the tops of my doorways, top of picture frames on my walls, top of my china cabinet, top of my bookshelves, and any other hard to reach places. The duster part detaches easily and just throw it in the washing machine and then let it air dry, reattach and go again.

I absolutely love this Duster. The pole is really sturdy, and has several options for adjusting the height of the pole. Snap-lock tabs just click in place to adjust the pole -- super easy. We sprayed the micro-fiber "sock" with our favorite dusting cleaner to capture the dust and keep it from flying all over. This works BEAUTIFULLY-- and the micro-fiber cover is machine washable and dry-able. REALLY well made, and makes the job quick and easy. I really like the fact, too, that the head on the pole can be custom bent to fit fan blades, or it can be left straight up to clean high places on walls. GREAT product.

OK, so I can reach the fan, but the fan still spins so it's hard to get the duster to sit over the blade. And it does drop dust. Very overpriced product that doesn't really do the job. Works ok for ceilings.

This is one of those you get what you pay for. Really easy to use. But doesnt clean as good as i taught it would. Quality is ok and holding it both hands to clean fans blades has decent stability just doesnt clean that good.. will be looking at getting a different one.

Overall it worked really well. I like that it had washable top. It extended really high and is easy to use. I have a vaulted ceiling so it's nice to so easily get to high places. It is easy to expand and shorten. The only issue I ran into was the top was hard to get on and off and in the process, the cardboard that is on the top broke off. I still am able to use but it's just harder to use.

This thing does not bend like in the photo. In the photo it looks like you can bend it so you can kind of hug the fan blade, but that's not the case at all. The extender is nice, but the part that I need to clean really isn't efficient at all. I'll just keep using my Swiffer Duster since it seems to do a better job.**Update - Was contacted by the company who offered a larger duster. The larger duster works great and you can bend it so that it hugs the blades! We use it all the time now. Just be sure you're looking for the larger duster!

I purchased this a few months ago and love it. I have 10' ceilings and one vaulting to approximately 20 feet with a fan hung about 12' high. In years past i had tried a number of dusters with what was referred to as telescopic poles. Once the pole was extended it would constantly collapse while cleaning and the cleaning tools attached were floppy and hard to control. The poles were made out of light weight metal that was not sturdy and when extended swayed, again making it very laborious to use. After trying several i gave up until now. This one is amazing and very well made. The pole is thicker, more substantal without being at all heavy. It has latches to hold in place once you extend it.It's genius really.. It stays straight and stable when fully extended, making the job so much easier. The dusting tool that comes with it is nice and long and removes dust really well, and holds it until you shake it loose outside. One side is smooth and the other has long nubbies that is equally as effective at picking up dust. No dust shower as you are trying to clean. The tool can be bent to glide over the fan blades. A couple of reviewers commented that the dusting tool broke while bending. Again it looks really sturdy but I would not bend it while holding the part that attaches to the pole. I hold the fabric part that covers the flexible duster so there is no pressure on the handle as you bend it. I really don't anticipate any trouble with breakage. The fabric part of the duster head is washable. This duster is also great for walls. I used it fully extended for a fan and effortlessly unlatched to shorten the pole to dust walls, around door casings, woodwork, and along base boards. It works beautifully along the narrow ridge of baseboards and the sides. No bending down. I then unscrewed the duster head and used it as a hand duster for furniture and the window blinds. All this in one room without changing tools. I did need to.contact the manufacturer because I had not judged accurately on the size pole needed for the fan with the vaulted ceiling. Their Customer service was great, very curteous, and advised me on the size pole that would work best for the fan with vaulted ceiling. The pole they recommended has a 12 foot reach and comes with a round fluffy type dusting head that is great also. I did not want to part with what I already had, so they mailed me the 12' with the duster for my higher fans for a reasonable price. It is perfect. Cleaning tools are often flimsy and can make the job harder, this is not one of them. It's rare that I am really happy with a cleaning tool, but I am so glad I ordered this and will certainly order additional tools from them.

The bending of the cleaning paddle is genius. We have high ceilings and this made it so I didnt need my ladder for most of our ceiling fans. My daughters love the simplicity of this otherwise messy chore. No more pillow cases and ladders. There was very little mess with this, most of the dust stayed on the fibrous cloth. If you have a lot of buildup (which we did on our entryway fan) we had some dust particles that fell off and we simply swept it up. I also needed my 25 foot ladder to clean that fan. So it's a chore that gets accomplished about 1 time every year. It's on our 18 foot ceiling, and my husband and I both hate heights!!
