This replacement filter truly is 10 micron and fits perfectly as the replacement in my evil 10 microm filter. This filter will NOT fit the 100micron version of this type of filter. I have both and checked.

I had this filter installed for about 200 miles after a fresh rebuild. I started getting some hesitation and a pressure drop during acceleration. I had installed a new fuel tank, pump, and lines, so I decided to check the filter to see if it had gotten clogged from dirt, metal shavings, etc. in the tank or lines from the build. To my surprise, there was a chunk of glue stuck in the AN fitting at the outlet of the housing (see photo of the chunk sitting on top of the box. Looking closer at the filter, I could see that all the glue holding the filter mesh in place had started to swell/loosen. Now I have to open up my TBI unit and regulator to make sure there are no smaller chunks stuck inside them. Do not use this filter! Stick with Aeromotive.

I bought the 100 micron filter believing I could use a 100 micron element OR the 10 micron element. But no, The 10m filter and element is dimensionally smaller. So I had to by another filter (body and element) to get a 10m filter.

This looked like a cheaper alternative to the 10 micron aramative stainless filters. I was hoping it was going to be the same size but it was my fault for not double checking the measurements. It seems like it's an exact copy but a little cheaper which is fine considering it's cost. I can buy a couple of these and change them out more often for the same price as one aramotive filter. I wish they were bigger but I will hold on to this in case I do find a smaller filter casing. It does not come with new o-rings like the arrow motive filters do. I would recommend this to someone who has the right filter casing but if you have the standard size one skip this cuz it will not fit. It's too small 😔
