I got this because it’s also listed as an oven degreaser, and I wanted something to use in the oven that didn’t smell too bad.Well, when I got it there was no oven cleaning directions and it says not to use it on painted metals. Well, the inside of my Samsung oven is definitely a painted metal so I decided not to use it.I did use it on the oven grates though, because those are awfully dirty. I hate cleaning them because it’s hard to get my fingers in all the grooves while applying enough pressure to scrub adequately.I took my oven grates outside and sat them on cardboard as instructed. I sprayed with this and waited 10 minutes. Most stuff did not come off, and I had to scrub. So I tried to treat it again, leaving it for another 15 minutes that time. It helped to do it a second time, but I did have to scrub quite a bit and a lot of the burnt-on stuff didn’t come off.You can see my before pic where the grate is pretty black, then the after pic there is definitely shine but lots of black spots left on the gate.I used about half the bottle. I can’t imagine this working for a grill.

Our grill was incredibly dirty because it gets used by a lot of people in our building and few ever clean it. I took all the grill plates and burner covers out and sprayed them down with the cleaner. Then I let them sit for few minutes before taking the grill brush to them. You do still need to scrub to get these clean, but they are much cleaner than if I had just used the brill brush alone. After scrubbing them, I sprayed them down with the hose and let them dry before putting them back in the grill. This cleaner didn’t get off all of the really burned on bits so I had to use the scraper to get that off, but the majority of the burned on stuff came off and now the grill looks like something I’d actually cook food on again. This cleaner has a strong and not-too-pleasant smell but as long as your use it outside you should be fine. I think I used about 20% of the bottle to clean all the parts on our grill so this should last for the entire summer.

This one is working well for us on a couple of our grills.We have 4 that we use for various reasons.So far seems to work as well as most others we have used on them.I find it works better on the smoker type grill we have the best.Not nearly as good on the flat griddle type one as the one with the grates.I like when I use this on the regular grate type grill I do not have to scrub nearly as much as I would when not using it.Overall am quite pleased with this prodcut.

Works no better than Citrus Safe. Does not clean any burned on grease or food even after scraping and spraying several times as directed.

It was like spraying water on everything. I even soaked clothes with it and placed them on the item I was trying to clean soaking it for hours and it failed. At the time, I even wondered if someone had removed the product from the spray bottle and replaced it with water do I remain baffled.
