These are highly effective barrel swabs. Watch the Hustle Paintball review if you're in doubt, but they're awesome swabs. The plush end can absorb numerous barrel breaks before getting oily to the touch. The rubber tip is INGENIOUS, an engineering marvel. Somehow, it actually narrows when pushing down your barrel, and then expands when pulling back out, so you can squeege most of the broken paint and shell out before swabbing -- thus avoiding the problem of pushing paint and shell into your bolt and breech, which is obviously counter-productive.FWIW, I carry two swabs -- one for me, and one for the sorry saps who don't have the common sense to carry a swab. Having a clean barrel makes a dramatic difference in accuracy, so it's silly to invest in an expensive marker and expensive barrel upgrade and then be trying to shoot it "clean." This swab is a cheap way to keep your marker shooting at its best, even in the heat of battle.
