When you need a traditional bow string to add to your hunting gear, look no further than the Excalibur Flemish String.
The Flemish Dynaflight Crossbow String combines modern materials with traditional time-proven design for the utmost in performance and durability.
For use on all Excalibur classing longer limb crossbow models.
The Flemish string is hand made and is held together by friction created from its twisted configuration; it is required to twist this string numerous times in the correct direction to assure the end loops are tight before installation.
Failing to do so can result in the end loops of the string becoming undone and the string falling apart.
The bow string is a long 36 inches in length for the Mag-tip Exo Series.
Take the traditional route and use a Flemish string for a better experience.

This product is for hunting wild game, Iām concerned over the frayed ends, if this will be an issue over time.

I just replaced the strings on both my Ibex and the Equinox and, the first thing I noted was a tremendous change in point of impact, about 6 inches high with both crossbows. So, the string definitely improved the speed. The string stretched a little bit after the 12 first shots so, I twisted it again until I got a separation between the suppressor string rubber pieces and the string of about TWICE the diameter of the string. I shot the bow another 12 times and so far the initial distance the string was set is still holding. The noise has also decreased a bit. I recommend this item big time

As always amazon gives you a great product at a great price.got this string for a back up for my excalibur vortex crossbow was glad to see the qualty of this string so i put it on my bow shots great and tighten groups very pleased with product.

I bought this string without knowing much more than that it was supposed to make the bolt fly faster. I purchased it at the same time as the crossbow. The Excalibur product CD that came with the crossbow says NOT to use this string until you are very confident with a crossbow. The one that they have stock on the crossbow takes dry fire, etc a lot better than this string. Then, once you're sure you're set, they recommend using this string as it takes a lot more maintenance.Update 10/4/2013I felt confident enough to install the string for the upcoming season. Talk about noise reduction! I swear this thing cut the noise 50%! It only took about 15 minutes to site in the scope again with the new string. Will update again later.

I haven't chronoed my bow yet. I changed from the stock dacron string to the fast flight. Seems faster. Make sure you leave your bow cocked over night to break in the string. I left mine coked over night and fired a few times and it still has some creep in it. I like these strings. Not as good as a boo but it doesn't take a year to get to your house either. After a few shots the string gets little whiskers on each side. I think it gives it a cool look. I recommed this product.
