The tool works great for it's intended purpose. These exhaust hangers can be a bear to remove, the tool makes it almost effortless. I haven't used the rubber hangers yet, but they appear to be good quality universal replacements.

Though I have not used it yet (no need) I can see how it is supposed to work and should make it easier to remove the isolaters / hangers. I have always man handled them with pry bars and slip joint pliers in the past. These should make it much easier to remove them. I only work on my own cars so may be a while before they actually get used. But their build / fit and finish seems to be well done.

Actually I was somewhat surprised that the pliers worked as well as they did. Most Chinese metals are so subpar and they bend easily even used for what they are designed for, not so with these. I removed (3) rubber hangers fairly easily albeit the grip isn't the friendliest, it works. As for the rubber hanger bushings I highly advise doubling up wherever you can (see pics). The OEM bushing from my 2012 Dodge Caravan is almost double the width by itself. But an OEM one is about $30 ea from Mopar, but they lasted 11-13 yrs. That time period may sound confusing, but a couple years ago I only replaced what was needed with a single aftermarket from another provider. Doubling up should help with the life of the aftermarket ones as you'll see in the additionally provided pics from a 2 year install. Even doubling them is a quarter the cost of OEM Mopar.I provided measurements and results, any decisions you make are your own.A recommendation, ...be sure to check your motor and transmission mounts (especially on front wheel drive) on your vehicle. The mounts, if broken, ..will allow for extra motor movement and bushing extension on the exhaust and premature wear of any replaced hanger bushings. You'll be just throwing good money after bad if that isn't addressed. It may have been what created the premature wear of the bushing in my pic.

Exhaust was rattling badly at 3k rpm and my original exhaust hangers looked worn out. Actually didn't need to use the tool but still nice to have. The old hangers came out easily with some dish soap + water I mixed in a spray bottle. One of the hangers had a crack but thankfully I only needed 3. Completely got rid of the rattling. Installed on a 2017 Sentra SR Turbo, no issues with fitment at all. Nissan quoted me $15 per hanger so I saved a lot of money going with these.
