The SunRay Metal Halide Bulb is an all-in-one bulb that combines very high light output and heat radiation with optimal levels of UVA and UVB. This is such a nice fixture. High quality. Unfortunately it has been discontinued and replacement bulbs are nearly impossible to find.Per manual the bulbs should be replaced every 3000 hours.

This was my all time favorite reptile light. The spectrum was perfect! Heat output was modest in the spot. The power savings was noticeable. They lasted very long and would end up saving money in the long run instead of buying over $100 in bulbs in a year. My Day Geckos and my Bearded Dragon both had their own 50 watt fixture. However, Exo Terra (In all their infinite wisdom), decided to discontinue the bulbs. So if you go ahead and purchase this expensive and superior lighting fixture, you will be stuck with a paperweight in about a year when the bulb finally burns out.

I've had this light fixture system for a little over half a year and it already does not stick anymore to the tank glass and the bulb has already burnt out. Going to have to make a new fixture for this light source also finding a bulb seems impossible. Stay clear from this product and find something else.

A little disappointed with the way it was shipped the fixture it’s self is fine the bulb on the other half not good it came broken in the box I call Exo Terra and they told me I had to contact customer service through Amazon so yes I’m really disappointed

Bin mit dieser Lampenhalterung und der Lampe sehr zufrieden. Meine Chrysemis picta dorsalis liegt sichtlich gern darunter und genießt die Strahlung. Leicht zu montieren, schickes Design, vielleicht nur einen Tick zu teuer.

Excelente iluminación y fuente de calor.Aunque tenga otras bombillas en el terrario, Sunray es la que elige el reptil.

Truly the best lighting system on the market. You'll hear a lot of false information out there that this product is too bright or has too much UVB and therefore can't be used with reptiles like Chameleons or Amphibians like Tree Frogs. Well, that's completely untrue. As long as you have the proper conditions, naturalistic hiding spots and shaded areas, this is the PERFECT light. I've tried the Powersun and other all-in-ones and this is by far superior. You'll be thrilled at the coloring you'll get from your reptiles and the growth from your plants. The contemporary design is also second-to-none. I have a modern house and like to keep things sleek, which this definitely is. Also, I had a problem with the last one I purchased and had to deal with Hagen (owns Exo Terra) to resolve. Their support could be improved, but ultimately they completely replaced my product so I was definitely left happy.

This may be efficient, but was not nearly enough power to heat our juvenile bearded dragon enclosure. Ended up buying the Solar Glo 125w with a large dome for MUCH LESS than this combo and the difference is night and day! Skip the "high-end" Sunray and use the Solar Glo... You won't regret it!

Hab schon länger überlegt mir ne Lucky Reptile Bright Sun Jungle für meine Chamis zuzulegen. Aber da ich bisher immer von den Produkten von ExoTerra überzeugt gewesen bin, war ich froh als ich endlich die Sunray gefunden hatte. Und daher wurde umgehend ne 35W-Version bestellt. Aber diesmal gibt es Einschränkungen für ExoTerra und keinen tosenden Beifall.Dachte bei der Bestellung: Super, kann meine vorhandene Light Bracket nutzen, aber falsch gedacht, da das Kabel der Sunray fest in der Halterung eingebaut ist, also mußte ich quasi die zweite Halterung anbringen. Auch die Verbindung zum Vorschaltgerät ist fix. Also falls man mal ne andere Wattstärke oder Position will ist das nächste Problem vorprogrammiert. Werde daher wohl das nächste mal zu LuckyReptile greifen, da ich dort mehr Flexibilität bekomme für das gleiche Geld. Meine Chamis lieben den Strahler, aber die müssen ja auch das Ding nicht anbringen. Qualität und Leistung sind gut, aber Handling ist schlecht, da alles quasi an einem Stück. Schade, die Terrarien sind super, aber beim Zubehör lassen die Leute von ExoTerra stark nach :-(
