I don’t use these expansion part but otherwise my 3lb yorkie likes it. We took it on a train ride and he was able to stretch out when on the floor. And sat comfortably on my back. We put a blanket in there with him since he’s so small. It’s lightweight and has some good pockets.

Holds my 16-pound Bengal just fine. It is easy to carry when she is in it, and it is made well. The zippers are easy to open and close. The mesh is thick and I'm not worried about her razor-sharp claws going through the screen. I like the expandable portion, it is great for when she is overstimulated and wants to feel safe.

Realized (indoor only) pet was not uptodate with meds/vaccinations. Then no power after Hurricane Beryl, Catagory 1. With WildGoGo he nice runs into “porch/patio” every morning, ecstatically waiting to be carried outside. He’s officially a dog now, in a cat’s body. He also enters his porch/patio to self-soothe and/or cue us that he is up for another outing. He weighed 13 pounds, so training him to go with me in the backpack has added benefits - we’ve both lost a few lbs. He doubles as a “weighted” vest! When we must evacuate and keep our wits with what’s happening around us, our mindsets have been updated. A little better prepared, meds & vaccines updated, a little more resilient & ready with WildGoGo.

It is so nice to be able to take our pet with us on vacation. Fortunately, we had an understanding flight crew on our recent trip to Florida on Allegiant, accompanied by our 9.5 pound, shelter-rescue Phoebe. It was her first flight. On the way there, we had her in a It was just too cramped and did not zip up tight. She got really nervous after we landed and were waiting to get out of the plane. We managed to purchase this Wildgogo carrier before our return flight and it made a world of difference. When we take Phoebe out, people often comment on how cute she is. Now it's her bag that gets all the attention. At the airport in St. Petersburg, we had probably 5 different people comment on how they loved her backpack-style pet carrier. Even the lady at the check in counter expressed her admiration. When we took our seats in the waiting area and opened up the "screened in porch" expansion, we heard a wife tell her husband "oh look, it even opens up!"But all those accolades would be meaningless if Phoebe didn't like it. She seemed to feel more secure and at peace even when she was zipped inside. There was plenty of room for her to turn around and lay down comfortably. When she was inside, she could still see out well through the tree screened sides. It's the fourth side that has the opening for the zip-off, screen porch. We found that if you twist it half a round that it stores more compactly and does not take up as much space inside the carrier. I think the carrier may not have been able to actually fit under the seat in front of us on the flight. We did not try. The stewardess was fine with the carrier being on the floor between my legs. On our initial flight from Cedar Rapids, they were fine with Phoebe being on our laps during the flight. But on the return flight they announced several times that their policy was that pets needed to be zipped in their carriers and placed on the floor for the entire flight. This would not have been possible with our other carrier but Phoebe did not seem to mind it too much in this roomier, more comfortable carrier. In addition to being a well thought through versatile design, this carrier is very well constructed. All the zippers, fasteners and other materials used are high quality and should last a lifetime. I can't imagine finding a carrier that I like better than this one.

This is a great option for traveling with medium-sized animals. The back portion unzips and lays flat so that you can zip the mesh enclosure onto it.Unfortunately, you will have to either completely remove your pet or try to do this while convincing them to stay in and out of the way. There is a clip to secure them on the inside of the bag but I feel it would have been a better idea to have the enclosure attached and not be completely separate. There are nice pockets on the outside. The straps are very well padded and everything feels durable. It isn't the most structured carrier so if you have a rambunctious pet this might not be the best option since you will feel every movement or allow the bag to allow your pet to move in ways they shouldn't.If you're pet is anxious / nervous about new things; I wouldn't recommend this because they will NOT feel safe and secure. But if you've got a critter who couldn't care less; this may be perfect for you.
