First fish I tried to gaff the hand grip came right off!! It was on a small tuna and luckily had another gaff on board to finish the job. Had leader in my other hand and almost lost a finger. First time used and now at bottom of the ocean! Waste of my $$

Was not durable and broke the first use. Very flimsy and not meant for heavy fish. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money for a nicer one!
