Your cart is empty.The Shasta Vent 6a-erb extended roof bracket is used to secure and stabilize a chimney above the roof line. It will work for any chimney that has 8" outside diameter. The kits includes the strap around the chimney pipe with two eyelets for attaching your support pipes (this kit does not include the pipe, and we recommend that you use electrical galvanized conduit, aka emt). This kit also includes the brackets to be attached to your roof and attach to the other end of your emt conduit. The materials used is 304ss which is a superior grade of ss and will withstand adverse conditions like seaside locations with salt-spray.

Expensive, but worth it. The included bolt was not long enough to accommodate a 10.5" diameter vent pipe, but I just used a longer bolt, and the bracket fit just fine plus there were holes in the bracket for screws to attach it to the vent pipe. It was plenty rigid for the vent pipe and holding the stabilizers rigid. What I really liked is that the two roof brackets were sturdy, but not too rigid so I could bridge crossing over the roof shingles and still secure the screws. It was easy to make stabilizers by flattening and drilling the ends of 3/4" emt pipe.

Bought this as a spare when I did my flue pipe setup. The other flue clamp set actually made by Dura-Vent had a one inch gap between the ends when placed around their own product(6" ID/10" OD), so used this clamp setup and still the ends did NOT connect flush?? (touched on the outer end and not the inner side as both ends met??). So I used parts from BOTH packages and still not happy - waste of money. What is so hard to design a 10" diameter round clamp with a 2 bolt attachment?? Not fun when you're working on a roof and ladder and finding this stuff out.

NOT good for a Ventis 8" chimney pipe (8 3/4") too small couldn't wait and had to use it with an extra long bolt to make it work. Used support legs off an old satellite dish

My old clamp was of heavier material, but not stainless steel, therefore rusted away causing the support arms to fall. This supplier was perfect for me since I did not want the supporting arms. Every item including bolts, nuts, and washers are stainless steel -- best you could wish for. The pipe collar may look flimsy to some not aware of actually how good this one is. I did not find the ad misleading as it is clearly stated the arms are not included. I am so glad I found this and that I did not have to pay a huge price to get what is likely the most failing part -- the pipe collar. Then add additional joy for stainless steel.

This put the finishing touch on our installation. We no longer have to worry about the high-speed west Texas wind destroying the chimney. Easy to install, too.

don't expect much. Everything you get in the package can be easily made if you have any handy skills whatsoever a trip to the hardware store and get a 6 bolts/nuts/washers, 18" of 2" Alumninum strip and 3 3"x4" x1/8" angle iron for a total expenditure of $6.39 and you have everything that comes in the box. You still have to purchase the support rods which are the most expensive items anyway!A big time rip off!!!! No wonder they don't show you a real picture in the add.Amazon- Shame on you for allowing this fraud to go on!!!!
