We bought the cheaper handles before and it did not go well. Going with the Toyota brand was the right choice.

Super cheap and flimsy they will not last guaranteed. The handles flex under basically no pressure and the metal lever inside is made out of the softest metal I've ever seen.

Went into my 2001 Tacoma driver side door fairly easy and it looks good black even though the OEM was silver. I have experienced trouble unlocking the door from inside using the power lock. Sometimes the knob only rises 3/4 of the way and requires opening the window, grabbing the exterior door handle and lifting and then rolling up the window and re-opening from inside. A pain for sure but it's probably my installation that somehow went amiss and I'm living with it as is rather than tearing into it to see the hang up.
