This little USB device works great with Windows 10. It is plug-and-play. There is no need to install any software. Just plug it into a USB port and Windows 10 will automatically detect it as a USB Audio Device. I have tested it with a microphone and with headphones and they both work great. I no longer have to crawl to the back of my PC tower to plug in my headphones or microphone. The little red LED light will remain steady red when it is plugged in and will flash when it is picking up sound thru the microphone input. It is basically an external sound card on a USB stick.

Purchased to use in my USB switch for audio and its worked great since day one. Amazing price for a product that does everything it's supposed to. I haven't used the microphone jack yet but I am sure it works.The only thing is that when it's in use, the red light is always flashing and is unfortunately on the top side. It could be positioned out of sight or place a piece of black tape over it to cover the led if it's bothersome.I would definitely recommend and purchase again.
