These fiberglass brush refills work great. I use them to burnish copper and aluminum.Just be careful, the fiberglass can stick if you run your hand along it.

I used to purchase this type of contact cleaner from Radio Shack. I lost or misplaced the last one I bought so I ordered from you. Works as I expected and I would order again.

These are the perfect refills for my Extra Thin Fiberglass Scratch Brush. They tend to go fast if you use them much but you can slow that process down by simply using less pressure. Pretend that you're writing something on a piece of paper. I'm one of those who puts a lot of pressure on the pen, resulting in the paper having deep impressions and trying to roll up when I'm finished. Now try to write the same thing only this time using far less pressure. You will still get the legible output you need, but there will be no impressions in the paper and it will not tend to roll up on you. Same results using less product and effort.Another favorite example would be from Charlie Sheen's cancelled TV show. One of the actresses was upset by Charlie's ministrations and uttered the line "just because you press the elevator button more often doesn't mean that it will arrive quicker". Slow down and let the tool do the job -- so to speak. And be sure to wear gloves and eye protection -- just in case.

The brush is very effective and also is strong enough to go into a hole and clean the inside surface without bending all over. The internal surface of a female connector is not easy to clean without this brush. Buy an additional set, you would not regret. But the scratch is quite hard so do not over use and remove too much of the conducting surface or the protection coating.

I've used this product's "big brother" (larger diameter brush) and was impressed with that model. This model in many ways is even more useful since it gets into small areas that are often difficult to clean or polish. Very useful and worth the money if you restore / repair jewelery, knobs with intricate patterns, etc.

i have used these types of brushes on various rust spots on different metals. it is the only product that does the complete rust removal. just be careful and know that it is fiberglass that causes irritation on your skin. just ask any surfboard shaper/sander what fiberglass dust does for your skin. there is a small amount that comes off of this stick, but does it ever take off rust spots. remember, this is not a product to take off large amounts of rust, but just a touch up on small rusty spots. yes, even stainless steel rusts. also, wear eye protection and ventilate away from you. this refill goes in a pen holder from the same company. nothing touches your hands. great product and service.
