Use hardened military-grade stainless steel for the 5/16" diameter body and full 1" head. Use a two-step inert gas heat remedy to help stop abrasion and bending. Design it with a taper profile to protect an 80° industrial-grade carbide. Make it all in America. The result: A stud that stands out. Please note: The proper stud length is critical for safety and optimal performance. Determine the correct length by measuring from the outside of the track to the top of the lug and adding 1/4" for trail riding or 3/8" for aggressive riding. For example, with a 1" lug, select 1.25" studs for trail riding or 1.345" studs for aggressive riding.

This order has been a nightmare. The first time my package was delivered it was just an amazon soft package with nothing in it. Jumped through Amazon’s hoops and they sent a new set out. Got the second set and attempted to install them this evening.. no backers come with this kit, you have to order separately, no biggie got some on order. Got all my stud holes drilled and set the studs only to get all the way to the end and find out my package was one stud short..

Great product at a great price with a fantastic customer service dept. I purchased 144 - 1.40 studs, backers and 1/2" lock nuts for my 2007 Yamaha RS Vector GT. Installed everything myself but came up 1 short for some reason. Contacted support and the next day I had the missing stud. Rode over 100 miles the next day. Night and day both for acceleration but more importantly for stopping. I would highly recommend Extreme Max Studs.

This is my third order for Extreme Max studs. I ordered them for my old Arctic Cat ZR and wife's Polaris Indy two years ago and I was so pleased with the Product that I put in another order for My new Polaris Rush and I'm going to be doing my wife's new Ski Doo MXZ 600. I stud the machines for safety and performance. The 1.40 stud is perfect for the new 1.25 tracks and I recommend you order the 1/2" tall nuts for added support! These studs stood up great on both of my old sleds so Its a no brainer to install them on new sleds! I will recommend this company to everyone!

I would have liked to have a chart that told me the best length to use for my track I think I might have been able to use a longer stud & achieved a better bite on the ice but I haven't ever had a track with studs. They do well & are noticeably an improvement.They have only about 30 miles on them.

Bought these to replace very worn studs on my snowmobile track.They are well made and appear to use a smaller diameter carbideinsert than the well known Woody's brand. They grip well and noissue with the carbide.You need a Torx-25 bit to install or remove them.Priced very well, esp for stainless studs. Very pleased with them.I will purchase 2 more sets for other snowmobiles.
