The clip is mounted with a nut and bolt, better than the rivet used on many. I had to tighten the bolt which centered the clip and made it work better. Good value, better than the Warn hook that came with the wench.

Everything is okay with this, at least visually. I can't speak to the fact that I have used it for any heavy towing because I haven't. I bought it for a side project I'm working on.I did however expect it to be a little smaller, so I figured I would include a picture for future buyers to get a better sense of scale. Hopefully it helps you out.

It's good overall, doesn't have to say "Warn" on it to be. Decent spring behind the latch. I doubt I'll ever break it. Pretty sure 5/16" is shown in the casting just above the pin, I don't think I saw that in the description. Super Saver shipping eligibility is nice too. These can be found a couple bucks cheaper at Mills Fleet Farm, Blaine's, etc.

Decent price on a replacement hook. Nice and shiny appearance which is important to us rednecks. Seams to be made of some hefty forged steel.
