Love the quality. Easy install if patient. Not a fan of taking it apart but the reward is everything. I also have the same snes shell for my Xbox. I will continue to order from Extremerate. Cheers!

This was wonderful! The Retro look really stands out for me. You do need to look up s video on how to take it apart and put it together without breaking anything. But with the help of one their instructor videos, I had it put together in less than a hour. It's clean, smooth, looks fantastic. 👌🏼

Came missing the clear parts to make the lights work. Had to MacGyver the old clear parts out of the other shell. Which meant I had to break it. I wanted to sell that shell kit, which now I can’t do. Instructions could be better. NOTE: it only comes with the four symbol buttons. For the others you have to use the old ones, or order a button kit. Would be nice to have the full button kit, like what comes with the Xbox version.

Not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but the R2 does not line up with the trigger assembly. everything else fit fine, but that one bad piece ruined the whole thing for me.

Really like the quality of the shell! I’ve been using extremerate products for awhile and I haven’t had any issues so far! Only thing to note, make sure you buy the correct shell for your particular model PS5 controller. Other than that, it’s simple to take apart and put everything in the new shell!

Missing pieces that I didn’t know that weren’t included which is the directional buttons, the rings that go around the sticks. And the option and pause button. it does feel really good in your hand however, I just would’ve liked to have those pieces since it technically is part of the shell

Im familiar with the disassembly process of all PS5 controllers. So, it should be noted that this can be a lengthy process if you want it done right.I highly recommend following the guide(s) on ifixit. Like the seller says, check which BDM version you have.If you take your time and have the right tools it shouldnt be a problem for most. Id recommend one of the kits ifixit sells, there guides are usually flawless.I think the hardest part would be for a casual modder is the circuit board thats glued to the touchpad. Hotair rework is recommended and kapton tape wouldnt hurt but not required. 60-80C is recommended for removing it and putting it on the new touchpad.See picture of before and after, I did it with a Lebron LE controller. The classic NES feels way better and obviously looks better. Do note this was with a black controller so I only needed what came with the Classic NES shell package.TLDR; check out ifixit for guide and correct tools. Also, watch extremeRates guide for the touchpad circuit board removal. (Its not as hard as it sounds if you just take your time).
