I bought this almost three years ago and used it almost daily for my prescription sunglasses. Very sturdy, had to issue carrying it in my pocket while traveling or walking around town. So top quality. Only issue is that it works until it doesn't. When the hinges fail, the whole case fails. It did take almost three years, but I wish I could replace it or even mail it back for recycling because as it stands, it has almost no use. But I did buy the same one again, so maybe it is by design?

Unfortunately this case is about 1/4” too thin for my new Ray Bans and I can’t use it. However, it is a really nice, well made case. The design has an inner mesh on the top half of the lid, securing your glasses in place and keeping lenses safe. Bummed that can’t use it, but it’ll make for a nice present. 🤙🏻

I read some reviews where people complained that they weren't very durable. Well, I'm sure you can smash them if you stand on them or run over them with a car. I know a couple of people who shouldn't carry them in a back pocket. Why would someone paying less than twenty dollars expect a case like this to be indestructible? From personal experience I can tell you that this case is at least as durable as the plastic case my glasses came in, and they don't rattle around inside this case. That is the best feature of this case: The web material in the top half holds your glasses gently but tight enough that they don't bounce around in it. The case looks good, feels good, and fits in my front pocket.

After about a week in my backpack, used daily and in a mostly climate controlled environment, the entire inside came unglued. Any stretch fabric and cushioning on the inside just completely fell apart. What was once something I thought was perfect for my needs is now a useless case that can in no way offer me or my glasses any protection. I switch from safety glasses, sunglasses, and my eyeglasses regularly everyday.UPDATE:The experience I've had thus far is a 10/10. I'll be receiving a replacement soon and I'm very optimistic I will have no issues based on the conversation I had. This a very well designed case and I think I just got unlucky this time.UPDATE 2:Replacement case has been holding strong and working great for few weeks. I love the product and the customer service. I will be buying any future products they come out with.

I bought this to carry my reading glasses in my shorts pocket. I have no other pockets in my clothing so my shorts pocket are it. Soft cases have allowed many pairs of glasses to be destroyed. This case is sturdy and looks nice but it is bulky and I definitely can tell they are there when walking. They falsely advertise in their pictures that the thickness is 1.1" thick. You can tell by my picture that it is 1.441" thick. Definitely closer to 1.5" than 1" thick. May not seem like much but when specifically buying a slim case to carry that is very noticeable. I do not recommend if you are looking for a slim hard case.

I like that my glasses are held secure by the case and it's a hard case so my $400 glasses won't be crushed.

I wouldn't consider it to be universal. My glasses dont fit and they're not that big, would only recommend if your glasses

This case is sturdy, has a three inch long piano hinge, and elastic fabric stretched across the top clamshell. It’s a little pricey but It holds my OVVO 3834 eyeglasses and is much slimmer than the collapsible shoebox they came with. My OVVO 3834, size 59-18/145 barely fit. Their screw-free hinges extend the width 3/4 inches when folded closed, for a total of 6.5 inches. The case has a slight curve that matches the frames contour, without which they would not fit. The height and width of the frames fills the case completely, and with the elastic fabric on the lens-side clamshell, the glasses are held securely to the point that there is no movement when shaking the case.The downside is that the extended tabs on the screw-free hinges dig into the foam lining and keep the case from completely closing by about 1/16 inch. Im not worried about that since the frames won’t bend or scratch, and once the elastic fabric stretches some it should close tight.
