With the red cross-link foam and mag holders, there is no better protection for your essential gear. This U.S.A made foam can hold single and double mags along with compact to full-sized 1911 pistols. Easy check-in with TSA, as we have designed this case to meet TSA’s strict requirements for firearm transport on airplanes in the U.S.A (TSA luggage lock fittings). A crushproof folding carry handle makes this case easy to transport or store inside of a backpack or other small bag. Injection molded from reinforced high pressure polypropylene plastic that is waterproof and crushproof. Adaptive pressure equalization valve to release built up air pressure allowing for atmospheric compensation when transported at high / low altitudes and within cargo vacuums. A waterproof seal is formed when the case is latched closed applying pressure to a rubber gasket that is molded to the perimeter of the case. Fully submerged waterproof protection for up to 1 meter. Resistant to extreme heat and freezing cold with a working temperature range of -20° F (-29 ° C) to 140° F (60 ° C). Two press & pull snap latches secure the full length of the gun case. Two pad lock adaptable fittings allow for secure storage at home or on the go. Featuring edge to edge crushproof protection up to 3,000 lbs. of directly dispersed weight. Uniform ridges on the top and bottom create a in line stackable design for multi case transport. Built to last Eylar cases are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

We purchase this to store our Night Vision Goggles and it works GREAT. Considering the price of the goggles ($2000.) we know they are well protected in this CASE! I would purchase this unit again.....actually I did. I am now the proud owner of two!

Seems to work as expected though there is one thing I didn’t quite understand. This is a waterproof case and though I didn’t test that theory, the seal looks good to me.However, there is a small drillbit sized hole in the front where I’m guessing you would put a TSA lock…. maybe? They send it to you with a knob that screws into this hole but if you lost this in water I’m guessing a bit of water might enter there.Yet I wouldn’t worry, just plug that small whole with a touch of RV silicone sealant and nothing will enter through that spot.Since being waterproof wasn’t a requirement for me, and I didn’t need any special locks and it served its job of protecting my telescope eyepieces, I didn’t investigate to see what that holes for. It’s definitely supposed to be there and you might even find the reason under the sellers description.

Love this case. Just as nice as a Plano or other name brand for less money. Nice and solid feel with good quality hinges and double front latches. Really like the double layer of pluckable foam so I can keep my revolver on the top layer and go deep for several boxes of ammo to stand up. Having a choice of colors is just icing on the cake. Not really too concerned about the waterproof or TSA approved as I was just looking for a good quality case for long term storage at home without paying alot of money for features that weren't that important to me. Will definitely be back to buy more...
