I picked this scanner up after the old one at my job stopped working, and I’ve been really happy with it so far. I work for an event planning company, and we manage a large variety of inventory items in our back warehouse — everything from lighting kits and signage to party favors and booth gear — and I needed something reliable for scanning barcodes directly into our inventory spreadsheet system. The Eyoyo EY-034 has been working perfectly. I tested all three modes — Bluetooth, USB cable, and the 2.4G USB transceiver (which tucks neatly into the base of the scanner handle), and they all connected quickly with no issues. I've been primarily using Bluetooth, and it's been scanning into Notepad and Excel flawlessly. The scanner has great feedback — there's a satisfying little haptic vibration when you scan, and the beep can be toggled off or adjusted by scanning the appropriate QR code from the manual. That brings me to one of my favorite features: the extensive physical user manual. It includes a ton of QR code-based settings so you can customize the scanner exactly how you want it — trigger mode, auto-sensing, sleep timeout, data suffixes, sound settings, and more. That said, I did want to have a digital version of the manual to make things easier. I found the product page on Eyoyo’s website, but even after clicking the manual link in both Chrome and Firefox, it didn’t download anything. I would’ve liked to just grab a few pages and print a condensed version for my team. In the end, I scanned the manual myself page by page to get what I needed, but it definitely took some time.Build-wise, it feels solid in hand and the scanning performance has been spot-on. It can read barcodes off of screens or paper, and it seems to have a camera-based sensor, which makes it more versatile — especially when dealing with QR codes or smaller, non-standard barcodes. For the price, I think this scanner is an excellent value. It’s working great in a light warehouse environment, it’s fast, customizable, and easy to deploy without needing drivers or complicated setup. The lack of a working PDF manual download was frustrating, but that’s the only complaint I have.

I received this scanner as part of the Amazon Vine Program. This barcode scanner from Eyoyo comes with a Wi-Fi adapter in the handle and a USB A-B cable which plugs into the bottom of the scanner. Also included is an instruction book, 50 pages instead of the usual microprinted fold-out. DO NOT LOSE THE MANUAL. There is only one control on the scanner, the scan button. All settings are logically supplied by scanning various two-dimensional bar codes in the manual, just point and click, it's that simple. Inserting the little Wi-Fi dongle into my Windows PC automatically recognized the scanner as a keyboard, and I was immediately able to scan barcodes into Notepad. I was also easily able to pair the scanner with an iPad and once again able to scan directly into documents. The scanner also worked well with several web-based inventory programs and could be set to transmit just the code, code with either CR or LF or both, among other options. I also tested the storage option, which is useful in situations where a computer or phone is not available, and was able to successfully scan a number of items (manual says that it can hold up to 16,000 scans) and download them to the computer via BT.The only niggle I had was when I attempted to go to their website and was prompted to download "Safe Mail", to access the site. Not gonna happen, but I didn't ding them for that. Now, back to reorganizing my pantry, like a normal geek.

This scanner supports Bluetooth, 2.4G wireless, and USB wired connections which makes it able to connect with pretty much all devices such as iPads, Android phones, Laptops, and PC's.It can read both 2D and 1D barcodes, making it particularly useful for inventory management in retail, libraries, and warehouses. It is really nice that it is easy to carry around and it is pretty user friendly, it was easy to set up with my POS system.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT LOSE THE MANUAL! And don't lose the little card with the reset QR codes, either. ALL of the settings for this scanner are done by QR codes shown in the manual. Transmit speed? Scan the appropriate code. Bluetooth connection? Scan the code. This means you don't need an external app to access the settings, which is nice. The scanner is lightweight, but feels fairly durable. The USB dongle for 2.4 GHz wireless stores in the base of the handle, near the port for optional wired USB. The specs say it is drop resistant and I could see it used in a library, small retail or modest warehouse, but I'm not sure it'll take a serious, industrial beating. Then again, it is a fraction of the cost of industrial scanners. Connecting it to my Android smartphone was quick and easy and the scans are quite fast. One more thing... DO NOT LOSE THE MANUAL OR RESET CARD.

I'll admit that I wanted this just for the fun of it. Great for cataloguing your book collection or anything that has a bar code.

This barcode scanner is easy to use, lightweight, and works well for scanning both barcodes and QR codes. It connects via Bluetooth, USB, or a wireless receiver, making it compatible with various devices. Setup is simple, though switching between modes requires scanning specific codes in the manual. The scanning speed is quick, and it reads different barcode types accurately. The built-in battery lasts a long time between charges, which is useful for frequent scanning. The wireless range is decent, though Bluetooth connectivity is more limited compared to the included USB receiver. It would be even better with a stand for hands-free use and an automatic continuous scan mode. Overall, it's a solid choice for inventory, libraries, or personal collections.

I had a lot of fun with this. I rarely give 5 star reviews, but this scanner exceeded my expectations. My only complaint is I wish I'd gotten one with a stand.I scanned every barcode I found around my desk... there were a lot of different kinds. All worked quickly/accurately. There are a ton more features I could have tested, but this is so well implemented that I already trust it all works.Contrary to the manual, with Windows 10, having the barcode scanner connected does not disable the keyboard. They can be used together. This is one of the times when having the printed manual is handy. In addition to some operational instructions, it also contains a library of QR codes which set settings on the scanner... 43 pages of them. Including one that outputs this:>> Battery: 95%I originally posted this along with the QR Codes I generated to test out that functionality, but sadly they were rejected in the review verification. Here were the results of those tests as text:>> I wrote this text using a QR Code generator and then scanned it with the scanner connected via USB to type it into this review.>> This text I generated a QR code for and then scanned it wirelessly using bluetooth HID mode.>> I put the scanner into storage mode, which saves scans into its onboard memory. I then generated a QR code for this text, and scanned it. I then triggered the upload command by scanning it in the manual. And this was the result.

This scanner is truly Plug & Play. It emulates a keyboard. When it scans a barcode or QR code, it simply sends the decoded text to the computer, followed by the ENTER key. As such, it is compatible with virtually every POS system on the market.I tested the various connection methods, and they all worked fine. The USB receiver has a range of over 10 meters. The Bluetooth connection was limited to about 3 meters from my computer, but it connected quickly, and I didn’t experience any disconnections. Similarly, the USB cable functioned flawlessly. One thing to note is that you will need the user manual to switch between the different wireless connection modes. The scanner actually supports three Bluetooth modes in addition to the 2.4GHz receiver. To switch between them, you must scan specific QR codes in the manual. The scanner is very lightweight, yet it still feels solid. It has an integrated speaker and a vibration motor to provide feedback. The included cable is a standard USB A-to-B, which is a great choice since these cables are easy to replace. I have other barcode scanners that use proprietary cables, and those are much more difficult to deal with. This scanner uses a bright white light to illuminate the barcode, which works well. Additionally, it provides a guide to know where to aim. The detection distance ranges from 3 cm to 16 cm (1.18” to 6.3”).Battery life is good. Obviously, it depends on usage, but I was able to go a full week without charging.Overall, it’s a great scanner. The only thing missing is a continuous scanning mode and a stand

This is a great item for collectors. Use it scan in and catalog all your collectable items. Great for identifying and verifying items at swap meets and secondhand shops. Can give you some extra information which might be instrumental in avoiding spending your hard earned cash on dodgy items. Works well so far, no complaints there, but fit and finish wise it could be a bit better made. All in all I'm glad I have it. Try not to drive your family nuts by scanning everything in sight. In other words please scan responsively.
